Description

Featherfin Yarn’s Cashmerino 3ply yarn is perfect for garments and accessories alike. The merino wool is extrafine and superwash, making it baby soft, yet easy to care for. The cashmere adds a touch of luxury and a slight halo, while the 3ply structure provides good stitch definition. The yarn is then hand dyed with subtle semi-solid color variations, giving each project its own unique look.

Care Symbols

Gentle/Wool wash cycle (max. 40°C), iron cool (max. 110°C), do not bleach, do not tumble dry, dry flat.

The yarn is rinsed with a mild detergent before hung to dry, but the darker colors may show some bleeding in the first wash.

This yarn can be washed in the washing machine, but for a longer life of your handmade garments, I recommend hand wash.

This yarn is dyed in skein form (big loops of yarn). Wind it into a ball to start knitting/crocheting/weaving.
The mulesing free, superwash merino wool is labeled as “Virgin Wool” or “New Wool”, as decreed by the EU-regulations for the labeling of non-recycled “new” sheep’s wool.
Each batch of hand-dyed yarn is slightly different. The movement of the dye through water creates variations between skeins, even from the same batch. Hand-dyed yarn is known for its uniquely beautiful nuances that only occur as a result of individally dyeing skeins in small batch sizes.
I try to represent the colors as true as possible, but depending on your monitor settings the colors may be displayed differently.
